Kids Up the Game

When it comes to cooking, we tend to ban kids from the kitchen, right? Well, not me! I invite them by the dozen to come and join in on the fun! They get down and dirty making and creating followed by eating and bagging it all home. It such a great way to get them engaged and focussed on the task at hand and enjoy their work at the same time. It is also a great way to keep them off their phones and other technological gadgets (it is hard not to since their hands are messy and sticky). Needless to say, the kids cooking party I held in honour of my 8-year old niece visiting from Vancouver was a roaring success!
